Television favorite Akshita Mudgal, last seen in Tulsidham Ke Laddu Gopal, is all set to make a powerful comeback on the small screen. The talented actress has been roped in to play the female lead in Zee TV’s much-awaited drama, Lakshmi Niwas. The show is being produced by Rashmi Sharma Productions and serves as the official Hindi remake of the hit Kannada series Lakshmi Niwasa.
Talented actor Hemant Thatte, who has impressed audiences with his roles in popular shows like Mere Sai – Shraddha Aur Saburi and Bhagya Lakshmi, is all set to become part of Zee TV’s new fiction drama, Lakshmi Niwas. The show, produced by Rashmi Sharma Productions, marks the Hindi adaptation of the successful Kannada serial Lakshmi Niwasa.
According to exclusive information received by RojkaDrama.com, Akshita has officially been finalized as the lead heroine of this big-ticket project. The storyline revolves around a middle-class couple—portrayed by Rajendra Chawla and Mansi Joshi Roy—whose lifelong dream is to own a house. On the male lead front, reports suggest that Durga fame Aashay Mishra has been cast opposite Akshita. Earlier, there was buzz around Pankhuri Awasthi being considered for the role, but the makers have now locked Akshita as the final choice.
In addition to Lakshmi Niwas, Zee TV is gearing up for the launch of another major show, Jagadhatri, produced by Rahul Tewary Productions, featuring Farman Haider and Sonakshi Batra in lead roles.
