Filmmaker Anees Bazmee has officially confirmed that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4 is in the works. On November 1, coinciding with the first anniversary of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, the director revealed exciting details about the beloved horror-comedy franchise — and the confirmation couldn’t have come at a better time, as the date also marked his birthday.
“Interestingly, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 released on my birthday last year — purely by coincidence. It’s been a year, and the film still connects with audiences. The director was full of praise for his leading man, Kartik Aaryan. “Kartik has done a phenomenal job. His comic timing in Bhool Bhulaiyaa took everyone by surprise. I’m planning a few comedy projects with him,” Bazmee said.
When asked if Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4 is one of those projects, he confirmed, “Most definitely. The film is in progress. The love this franchise has received over the years is unmatched. I can confirm that Kartik is definitely a part of it.”
Reflecting on the making of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Bazmee expressed his admiration for working with legendary actresses Madhuri Dixit and Vidya Balan. “Having Madhuri and Vidya together was a dream.
