Speaking to Hindustan Times, Tanya shared that she finds the debate over her needing security unnecessary and rooted in double standards.

“There’s this strange assumption that if a woman does something unconventional, people turn it into an issue,” she said. “I was questioned for saying I have bodyguards. I don’t understand why this should be limited to men or celebrities. If someone can afford security, it’s their decision. Responds to Being Called ‘Fake’

“I come from a family where I’ve been raised with certain habits and comforts,” she explained. “If I choose to invest in myself or enjoy a particular standard of living, that’s because I work hard for it. Calling that pretentious makes no sense. If a 30-year-old woman can fulfill her needs and wishes independently, what’s the problem?”

Reflects on Her BB19 Journey

Looking back at her time in the Bigg Boss house, Tanya admitted that she may not be everyone’s cup of tea — and she’s perfectly fine with that.

“I know I can be too much for some people, but I’ve always lived life my way. I’m not interested in adjusting myself to fit other people’s expectations,” she said.
