Dhanush Kriti Sanon Starrer Tere Ishk Mein Crosses 100 Crore in 6 Days
Aanand L Rai’s intense romantic drama Tere Ishk Mein has delivered a powerful box-office performance, soaring past the ₹100 crore worldwide mark within just six days of its theatrical release. Despite the mid-week slowdown, the film continues to draw strong footfalls, reaffirming Dhanush’s growing dominance in the romantic genre.
According to early trade estimates, the movie has earned ₹77.85 crore net and ₹92.65 crore gross in India since hitting screens last Friday. With an additional ₹8.50 crore from overseas markets, the film stands at an impressive ₹101.15 crore worldwide by Day 6. On Tuesday, the film’s global total was ₹92.50 crore, and even though it recorded a 33% drop on Wednesday, it still managed to break into the coveted ₹100 crore club.
The film opened strongly with ₹16 crore in India and ₹22 crore globally, showing better traction in the Hindi belt compared to the Tamil version. With consistent weekday collections, Tere Ishk Mein is now eyeing bigger milestones. The film must cross ₹138.1 crore to surpass Dhanush’s own Kuberaa, and needs ₹109.50 crore and ₹110.27 crore to overtake De De Pyaar De 2 and Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, respectively. The challenge remains significant as Saiyaara, currently the highest-grossing romantic drama, sits far ahead with a massive ₹569.75 crore collection. – Dhanush Kriti Sanon Starrer Tere Ishk Mein Crosses 100 Crore in 6 Days

About the Film
Tere Ishk Mein marks the third collaboration between filmmaker Aanand L Rai and Dhanush after the much-loved Raanjhanaa (2013) and Atrangi Re (2021). The film has often been compared to Raanjhanaa for its emotional intensity and raw portrayal of love. Speaking before the release, Dhanush revealed that his new character, Shankar, carries a certain vulnerability and emotional gravity.
“Shankar is very easy to like, but he has his very own challenges… Once you watch the film, you will know he must have gone through these challenges to play this part,” Dhanush shared during promotions. He further reflected on his earlier character Kundan from Raanjhanaa, calling it “very complicated,” where even a slight shift in portrayal could change how audiences perceived him.
With strong word of mouth and steady audience engagement, Tere Ishk Mein is expected to maintain momentum as it heads towards the first weekend of its second week.
