YouTuber and social commentator Dhruv Rathee has addressed the controversy surrounding his recent video, firmly rejecting claims that he took an indirect dig at Bollywood actor Janhvi Kapoor over her social media post concerning Bangladeshi Hindus.
Responding to the allegations, Rathee questioned the logic behind the narrative being circulated online. He urged people to apply critical thinking instead of accepting social media claims at face value. According to him, the accusations lack basic reasoning and are being amplified without proper verification.
Rathee clarified that his nearly 30-minute-long video was uploaded on the same day Janhvi Kapoor shared her post, making it practically impossible for his content to have been created as a reaction to her statement. The YouTuber also emphasised his communication style, saying that he speaks openly and directly without fear of political parties or Bollywood personalities. Rathee added that he does not believe in subtle or indirect criticism and prefers to express his opinions clearly and upfront.
