Dies Irae, the Malayalam horror-thriller starring Pranav Mohanlal in the lead role, continues its phenomenal run at the box office. Directed with an intense narrative and gripping visuals, the film has emerged as a superhit, amassing an impressive ₹26.45 crore in its first seven days of release.

The movie opened strong, collecting ₹4.7 crore on Day 1, followed by a significant boost over the weekend — ₹5.7 crore on Saturday and ₹6.35 crore on Sunday — taking its first weekend total to ₹16 crore. Although collections saw a slight dip from Monday onward, the film maintained a steady momentum throughout the week, earning ₹1.8 crore on Thursday (Day 7) and closing its first week with ₹26.45 crore in India.

In terms of gross earnings, Dies Irae has already crossed the ₹30 crore mark domestically, standing at ₹31.10 crore, while the worldwide total has soared past ₹55 crore, reaching ₹55.25 crore within just one week.

This success marks a remarkable achievement for Pranav Mohanlal, who now records a hat-trick of 50-crore grossers, making him the second Mollywood actor after his father, superstar Mohanlal, to accomplish this feat.

Produced by Chakravarthy Ramachandra and S. Sashikanth under Night Shift Studios and YNOT Studios, Dies Irae hit theatres on October 31 and has been lauded for its spine-chilling atmosphere, powerful performances, and strong storytelling.

With its momentum showing no signs of slowing down, Dies Irae is expected to continue its successful run into the second week, solidifying its position as one of the biggest Malayalam hits of the year.
