The iconic 1989 TV series Fauji, which launched the career of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, is making a grand return with a fresh twist. This time, Fauji 2 comes as a revamped and modernized version, courtesy of producer Sandeep Singh in collaboration with India’s national broadcaster, Doordarshan.

Fauji 2 will introduce an all-new cast, featuring Vicky Jain and Gauahar Khan in lead roles, alongside twelve fresh faces. The new actors bringing their talent to the series include Aashish Bhardhwaj, Utkarsh Kohli, Rudra Soni, Amardeep Phogat, Ayaan Manchanda, Niel Satpuda, Suvansh Dhar, Priyanshu Rajguru, Aman Singh Deep, Udit Kapur, Maansi, and Sushmita Bhandari. In a musical treat, renowned singer Sonu Nigam has been brought on board to perform the title track of Fauji 2. The show will feature a total of eleven songs, all composed by Shreyas Puranik, adding a melodious dimension to the updated version of the series.

Sandeep Singh, the driving force behind the production, is joined by co-producers Vicky Jain and Zafar Mehdi. The series is being directed by Abhinav Pareek, known for his work on Sab Moh Maaya Hai and A Wedding Story. – Fauji 2 Returns with a New Cast

 

Nishant Chandrashekhar has also taken on directorial responsibilities, ensuring the show strikes the right balance between nostalgia and modern appeal. Sameer Hallim is heading the creative team to maintain the spirit of the original series while refreshing it for today’s audience.

Fauji 2 will be aired on Doordarshan, with broadcasts in six languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Punjabi, and Bengali, aiming to reach a diverse audience across the country. With its blend of old charm and new elements, Fauji 2 is set to rekindle fond memories for long-time fans while introducing the classic tale to a new generation.
