A devastating tragedy has shaken the television industry and Kota city alike. Child actor Veer Sharma, known for his role in Veer Hanuman, and his elder brother Shaurya Sharma lost their lives in a house fire late at night in their apartment at Anantpura, Kota, Rajasthan. Veer was just 10 years old, while Shaurya was 15.
According to reports, the fire broke out on the fourth floor of the Deep Shree multi-storey building. The boys were alone at home when the incident occurred. Police confirmed that both children died due to suffocation from heavy smoke. – Gone Too Soon
Neighbors, after noticing the smoke, quickly broke open the door and pulled the children out. Despite being rushed to the hospital, doctors declared them dead on arrival. Preliminary investigation points to a short circuit as the cause of the blaze. Superintendent of Police Tejaswini Gautam revealed that the drawing room was completely charred, with burn marks across other parts of the flat as well.
Veer and Shaurya’s mother, Riya Sharma, is a Bollywood actress and was in Mumbai at the time of the incident, while their father, Jitendra Sharma, a faculty member at a Kota institute, was away attending an event. – Gone Too Soon
