Govinda Hospitalised After Fainting at Home
Veteran Bollywood actor Govinda was rushed to CritiCare Asia Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday after he reportedly fainted at his residence. According to initial reports, the actor had been feeling unwell prior to the incident and lost consciousness shortly thereafter.
Confirming the news, Govinda’s lawyer Lalit Bindal stated that the actor underwent a series of medical examinations and is now in stable condition. Doctors are currently awaiting the opinion of a neurology specialist to determine the exact cause of the episode.
The health scare comes just a day after Govinda paid a visit to veteran actor Dharmendra, who is recovering at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. This incident marks the second health-related emergency for Govinda within a year. In October 2024, the actor sustained an injury when his licensed revolver misfired, causing a wound to his knee. He was hospitalised for three days following that mishap and later made a full recovery.
During that period, Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja and daughter Tina Ahuja were seen by his side, offering full support throughout his recovery.
The actor, who is also associated with the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, has yet to issue a public statement on his latest health condition. Fans across the country have taken to social media to send prayers and well wishes for his speedy recovery.
