Actress Hina Khan has spoken out strongly in support of Ashnoor Kaur, who recently faced body-shaming inside the Bigg Boss 19 house. After the Weekend Ka Vaar episode aired on November 2, the Bigg Boss 11 finalist took to Instagram to thank Salman Khan for addressing the issue with compassion and fairness.
In her emotional post, Hina wrote that she had intentionally waited for Salman’s weekend episode before reacting publicly. “I waited for this WKV because I knew @beingsalmankhan would handle this with dignity and empathy. Thank you, Salman, for standing up for what’s right and treating such a sensitive topic with grace,” she shared.
Hina praised Ashnoor for showing maturity and restraint despite being repeatedly mocked for her height and weight by fellow contestants Neelam and Tanya. “A 21-year-old girl is being humiliated on national television for how she looks — by women who should know better. #Shame. Women, in particular, struggle with issues like thyroid, PCOS, or fatigue. It’s tough to fight what your body naturally goes through — I’ve been there,” she wrote.
Ending her note on a positive and empathetic tone, Hina reminded everyone of the importance of kindness and self-awareness. “We all make mistakes, but when they’re repeated without remorse, it becomes arrogance. I hope empathy reaches those who need it. You look beautiful, my girl,” she concluded.
