Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa recently sat down with the entire cast of Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 for a fun-filled interaction, where Kapil Sharma opened up about everything — from his fitness transformation to his long-running bond with director duo Abbas–Mustan, who first introduced him to films back in 2015.

During the chat, Kapil, in his signature humour, joked about how Abbas–Mustan brought him into the world of cinema years after launching Shah Rukh Khan with Baazigar. He quipped, “Aapne Shah Rukh Khan ko launch kiya, phir aapne Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon banayi. Unke beech kisi aur ko launch karne layak nahi samjha? Bahut bahut dhanyavaad, Abbas–Mustan bhai.” His playful remark had everyone laughing.

Haarsh then pointed out how noticeably fit Kapil looks in the sequel, teasing him about needing to be convincing while romancing three women on-screen. This time, Kapil stars opposite Parul Gulati, Ayesha Khan, Tridha Choudhary, and Hira Warina. Responding with a grin, Kapil said, “I was in great shape even in 2017, but Firangi flopped so nobody paid attention.” – Kapil Sharma Says Television Made Him Lazy

Kapil clarified that his current fitness goals stem from personal discipline rather than film commitments. He admitted that television work, while mentally engaging, often doesn’t require much physical activity. “I was fitter during Firangi, but this time I promised myself I’d maintain my health, film or no film. TV makes us lazy. Wahan koi measure nahi hota — gain weight or lose it, kaam chal hi raha hota hai. Sofa pe baith kar show chal jata hai. Ek dhele ki mehnat nahin hoti wahan pe. On TV, only your mind is working, not your body.”

He also shared that Yo Yo Honey Singh gifted him the song Phurr for the film. “Honey sent it with so much love. I told him the production team would speak to him about commercials, but he said he wasn’t worried about that. He gifted me the song and only requested that we shoot it in Dubai. He even shot for it himself.”
