The latest BARC TRP charts for Week 38, ending on 3 October 2025, have brought some major surprises in the television world. While Anupamaa (Star Plus) continues its dominance at the top spot with a solid TVR of 2.3, the newly launched Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi reboot is quickly closing in, securing the second spot with a TVR of 2.2. The narrow difference has set the stage for an intense battle between the two shows in the coming weeks.
Udne Ki Aasha – Sapno Ka Safar registered a TVR of 1.9, while its parent show Udne Ki Aasha scored 1.6, both performing decently in their respective one-hour and regular slots. Meanwhile, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai slipped slightly to 1.8 this week, indicating a marginal decline in viewership. – Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu and Anupamaa
On Zee TV, Tumm Se Tum Tak held steady at 1.7, while the newly launched Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan impressed with a strong debut of 1.5. The channel’s family drama Vasudha also climbed up to 1.5, strengthening Zee TV’s prime-time lineup. Sony SAB’s long-running sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah also recorded a 1.5 rating, though it experienced a slight dip compared to previous weeks.
Colors TV’s Mannat – Har Khushi Paane Ki gained momentum with a rise to 1.4. Meanwhile, Mangal Lakshmi and its spin-off Lakshmi Ka Safar managed to stay consistent at 1.3, sharing the same numbers with Star Plus’ Aarti Anjali Awasthi.
Other shows that settled at a TVR of 1.2 include Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya and Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile, Colors TV’s Dhamaal with Pati Patni Aur Panga and Shiv Shakti Tap Tyaag Tandav, along with Star Plus’ Jhanak and Zee TV’s Saru. Reality giant Bigg Boss (Colors TV) stood at 1.1, while Binddii (Colors TV) dipped slightly to 1.0 in its second week. Sony SAB’s Itti Si Khushi slipped further to 0.9, whereas Sony Entertainment Television’s new launch Chalo Bulawa Aaya Hai opened poorly at just 0.3.
In summary, Anupamaa and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi are now running almost neck-to-neck for the coveted top slot. Zee TV has also found its winning streak with its power-packed 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM lineup—Tumm Se Tum Tak, Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan and Vasudha—giving stiff competition to Star Plus and Colors in the prime-time race.
