During her spiritual visit to Gorakhpur this week, Mamta interacted with the media, where she was quoted saying that Dawood Ibrahim “was not behind the 1993 Mumbai blasts and is not a terrorist.” The remark quickly spread across social media, drawing strong criticism from the public and political figures alike. Amid the uproar, Mamta spoke again on Thursday to clarify her statement. “I was talking about Vicky Goswami, not Dawood Ibrahim. Dawood is definitely a terrorist. I have never met him and have no association with him,” she stated firmly.
Mamta further distanced herself from her past controversies, emphasizing that she has renounced worldly affairs. “I am no longer connected with politics or the film industry. My life is dedicated entirely to spirituality and Sanatan Dharma.
