In her detailed clarification, Manya explained that a man pretending to be Sreyas contacted her, claiming he could secure her a role in a Dhanush project. This impersonator allegedly demanded a “commitment” and even suggested a meeting at Wunderbar Films.

Dhanush’s Manager Sreyas Issues Strong Denial, Files Police Complaint
Soon after the video circulated, Sreyas released an official statement outright rejecting all allegations. He said he had nothing to do with the individual mentioned in the clip and warned fans and actors against falling for fraudulent casting calls circulating under his name or under the banner of Wunderbar Films Pvt Ltd.
He also listed the phone numbers that had been illegally used to impersonate him and confirmed that a formal police complaint has already been filed to track down those responsible.
Manya Says She Is Being Targeted for “Edited Footage”
Manya later expressed disappointment over the way her words had been twisted online for sensationalism. She noted that her attempt to spread awareness had been turned into a controversy, stating that edited versions of the interview were being circulated purely for views.
