To make matters worse, Manoj secretly plotted to further incriminate Megha. He planted drugs in her bag, and the police discovered them, leading to an additional charge of drug possession against Megha. This new twist leaves her trapped in an even more serious situation.
The episode opens with Megha riding her scooty when she spots a masked figure in her rear-view mirror. Startled, she quickly tells Arjun that she feels someone is following her. Arjun, skeptical, looks around but sees no one and dismisses her concerns for the moment.
As the police officers’ reunion event kicks off, Megha is anxious about whether Arjun will show up. Her mother, Ranjeeta, calls to wish her well, but the call takes a tense turn when Megha realizes that Surendar knows about the event. Feeling a wave of anxiety, she abruptly ends the call, unsure of what to expect next.
A little while later, Arjun arrives at the event. He advises Megha to reflect on what he had told her earlier before leaving again. Megha, lost in thought, decides to call her friend Manoj, sharing her feelings about how being in a marriage without trust is like being trapped in a cage. Just as she is pouring out her heart, the masked man reappears, brandishing a gun.
As Megha is pulled away for a dance performance, a shot is fired, and Megha is struck. Arjun immediately runs to her aid. After making sure she’s conscious, he notices the masked assailant fleeing and chases him. He catches up to the figure and pulls off the mask, revealing Rajveer, a man Arjun had previously arrested to safeguard Poonam.
Amidst the confusion and tension, Arjun realizes Megha is injured and swiftly takes her to the hospital. Her family soon arrives, concerned and distraught. Arjun informs them that the bullet was meant for him, but Megha was the unintended victim. Despite her injuries, Megha is determined to leave the hospital. She insists she will recover faster at home, refusing to stay any longer.
When Megha returns home, she is greeted by Kavita and Sadanand, who have come to check on her. However, the atmosphere turns tense when Megha begins to mock them in front of everyone. She boldly declares that Rajveer was the one who shot her, shocking everyone present. The revelation leaves the room in stunned silence as the gravity of the situation sinks in.
