Lin hails from a different community, and as Randeep once admitted, his parents preferred he marry within the Jaat caste—a common expectation in many Jaat households.
Speaking about the situation earlier, Randeep shared, “I’m the first one in my family to marry a non-Jaat. So everybody had a problem with that, but it gradually went away,” as reported by NDTV.
