Ranveer Singh Prepares for the Release of ‘Dhurandhar’
On the professional front, Ranveer is gearing up for the theatrical release of Dhurandhar, his much-talked-about comeback to the big screen. Directed by Uri filmmaker Aditya Dhar, the action-packed drama features an impressive ensemble that includes Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and more. Actress Sara Arjun stars opposite Ranveer in this high-octane entertainer.
However, the film recently drew attention for a different reason. It faced objections from the family of late Major Mohit Sharma, who alleged that the storyline mirrors aspects of the decorated officer’s life without proper approval. Major Sharma’s parents moved the Delhi High Court seeking a stay on the film.
While the court declined to halt the release, it directed the CBFC to fast-track the certification process and thoroughly evaluate the concerns raised by the family before clearance.
