Rohit Agrawal, who portrays the arrogant and privileged Sid in Star Plus and Rajan Shahi’s hit show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, is thoroughly enjoying his stint on the show. The current storyline revolves around three affluent youngsters — Varun, Sid, and Riddhi — who misuse artificial intelligence to create and circulate a fake video featuring Armaan (Rohit Purohit) and Abhira (Samridhii Shukla). The scandalous video wreaks havoc on the couple’s lives, leaving even Maira deeply hurt by the situation.
Rohit, who previously appeared in Doree 2 as Doree’s close friend, is thrilled to have landed this grey-shaded role. “Sid represents today’s Gen Z — entitled, rich, and reckless. The AI video his group creates completely disrupts Armaan and Abhira’s peace.
