Bollywood icon Salman Khan left fans stunned with an unexpected revelation at the Red Sea Film Festival in Jeddah on Thursday. During an interaction at the event, the superstar shared that he has not stepped out for a casual dinner in nearly 25–26 years, sticking instead to an extremely disciplined and predictable routine.
This was Salman’s second appearance at the ongoing festival. Just a day earlier, he walked the red carpet at the Golden Globes gala, where he was seen mingling with global personalities like Idris Elba and Edgar Ramirez.
A Life Built Around Work and Routine
Opening up about his lifestyle, Salman explained that his movements have been limited to just a few places for more than two decades.
He said, “Pichle 25–26 saal se main dinner ke liye bahar nahi gaya hoon. Shooting se ghar, ghar se shooting… ghar se airport, airport se hotel, aur hotel se wapas. Bas. Yehi meri life hai.”

Salman further spoke about the shrinking circle of people he keeps close, emphasizing that fame often demands selective companionship.
He said, “Main zyaada tar apne family aur kuch purane doston ke saath hi rehta hoon. Kaafi log alag ho gaye, aur bas 4–5 hi hain jo hamesha saath hain.”
Reflecting on the love he receives from audiences, he added that the respect and adulation motivate him to continue working harder:
“Yeh pyaar aur izzat hi meri mehnat ka reason hai. Kabhi kabhi main complacent ho jaata hoon, par phir khud ko taiyaar karta hoon, kyunki pata hota hai ki aage kya aane wala hai.”
What’s Next for Salman Khan
On the professional front, Salman Khan is gearing up for “Battle of Galwan,” a war-based drama inspired by a chapter from the book India’s Most Fearless 3. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film revisits the India–China clash at Galwan Valley.
While Salman’s character poster has already created buzz, the film’s first official look is yet to be unveiled.
