Shah Rukh Khan Reveals Why He Skipped Kajol and Twinkle Khanna Talk Show
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has finally addressed the question fans have been asking for months—why he never appeared on Kajol and Twinkle Khanna’s hit talk show Two Much. Despite the series hosting an impressive lineup of heavyweights including Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon, Janhvi Kapoor and others, SRK’s absence stood out prominently.
In a recent conversation with BBC Asian Network, Shah Rukh opened up about the real reason behind skipping the show, revealing that it wasn’t due to creative differences or lack of invitation, but simply because life and work got in the way.
“I’m shooting a film right now, and I told Kajol about it,” the actor shared. “I was also injured at the time. I genuinely felt bad. I would have loved to be part of the show—except for the food segment, there was way too much to eat!” he said with his signature humour.
The actor went on to apologise again, adding that he didn’t completely miss out on the experience.
“I am so sorry to Kajol and Twinkle, really. And just so you both know—I watched every single episode. It is my penance for not being able to come on the show.”

Shah Rukh is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film King, a project that had briefly halted after he suffered an arm injury. Production has since resumed. – Shah Rukh Khan Reveals Why He Skipped Kajol and Twinkle Khanna Talk Show
Even though SRK didn’t make it to Two Much, he and Kajol recently delighted fans worldwide by reuniting in London for a historic moment—unveiling a bronze statue of their iconic Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge characters, Raj and Simran. Installed at Leicester Square, the statue marks the film’s enduring legacy nearly 30 years after its release.
Sharing his excitement, SRK wrote, “Thrilled to unveil the bronze statue of Raj & Simran at London’s Leicester Square today, celebrating 30 years of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ)!”
With the superstar now back on set and the buzz around King growing stronger, fans hope his next reunion with Kajol won’t just be at a statue unveiling—but also on screen.
