Actor and singer Shehnaaz Gill has reflected on how Bigg Boss 13 played a transformative role in shaping her personality and outlook towards life. In a recent conversation with Ranveer Allahbadia on his YouTube channel, Shehnaaz revealed that her experience on the reality show and her bond with the late Sidharth Shukla had a profound impact on her emotional growth.
Speaking candidly, Shehnaaz shared, “Mujhe maturity deke gaya he woh banda! Jab wo sab kuch hua, uske baad mein mature hui hoon. Nahi toh main wahi rehti — Bigg Boss mein hi wahi hoon — kisi duniya ki parvaah nahi, kuch nahi.” (He taught me maturity. After everything that happened, I truly grew up. During Bigg Boss 13, Sidharth and Shehnaaz’s close friendship captured millions of hearts, with fans affectionately naming the duo ‘SidNaaz’. Sadly, Sidharth Shukla, who went on to win the season, passed away on September 2, 2021, following a cardiac arrest at the age of 40.

Most recently, Shehnaaz played the lead role in the Punjabi film ‘Ikk Kudi’, directed by Amarjeet Saron. The film narrates the story of a young woman whose parents are eager to get her married, but she decides to test her potential groom in unexpected ways — resulting in a mix of humor, love, and life lessons. ‘Ikk Kudi’ hit theatres on October 31, 2025, and has been well-received for its heartfelt storytelling and Shehnaaz’s natural performance.
