Sony rolls out second Wheel of Fortune brand film featuring Akshay Kumar
Sony Pictures Networks India has unveiled the second brand film for its upcoming flagship game show Wheel of Fortune, once again fronted by Akshay Kumar. Staying consistent with the mood of the first campaign, the latest film leans into light-hearted humour and easy relatability, presenting the show as wholesome entertainment for audiences across age groups.
As per the official communication, the new film is rooted in situational comedy, where playful misunderstandings and clever twists drive the narrative. The idea is to mirror the spirit of the game itself—where a small change in a letter or word can completely alter the outcome—while making the format instantly approachable for Indian viewers. – Sony rolls out second Wheel of Fortune brand film featuring Akshay Kumar
The campaign has been conceptualised, directed, and produced by Vikas Bahl under his banner Good Co.. Speaking about the creative intent, Bahl shared that the objective was to introduce Wheel of Fortune without overexplaining the format. Instead, the focus was on retaining the show’s inherent playfulness. With Akshay Kumar leading the campaign, the team was able to naturally build moments of witty wordplay, amplifying the fun and suspense associated with the game.

The second brand film strengthens the foundation laid by the first, which introduced the core thought: “अब मैटर करेगा हर एक अक्षर, जब घूमेगा जादू का चक्कर.” Together, both films create a unified brand story that highlights excitement, language-based puzzles, and family-friendly humour—key pillars of the Indian adaptation. – Sony rolls out second Wheel of Fortune brand film featuring Akshay Kumar
