On Prabhas’ 46th birthday, filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga treated fans to the long-awaited announcement of their upcoming collaboration — Spirit. The director, known for Arjun Reddy, Kabir Singh, and Animal, dropped an audio teaser titled One Bad Habit, introducing Prabhas as “India’s Biggest Superstar.”
Unlike traditional film teasers, Spirit’s first glimpse is purely auditory, unfolding through powerful dialogue rather than visuals — a storytelling approach reminiscent of Vanga’s unique introduction for Animal. The teaser opens with an intense exchange between Prakash Raj and Prabhas’ characters, hinting at a gripping power play. Prakash Raj’s voice, seemingly that of a Superintendent of Police, commands Prabhas — an IPS officer turned prisoner — to wear a jail uniform and move quickly. In a moment of calm defiance, Prabhas responds, “Mr Superintendent, bachpan se meri ek buri aadat hai.” When questioned about it, he adds, “Right from childhood, I have just one bad habit.” The line fades into the title reveal — Spirit.
