Tamannaah Bhatia, a prominent name across both Bollywood and the South Indian film industries, is no stranger to the limelight—or the gossip that often comes with it. Over the years, the actress has been linked to various celebrities, but few rumours stirred the pot as much as the ones connecting her to Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and former Pakistani cricketer Abdul Razzaq.
In a recent conversation with The Lallantop, Tamannaah finally addressed these bizarre dating stories head-on. Dismissing her alleged link-up with Virat Kohli, she clarified, – Tamannaah Bhatia
“It honestly upsets me because I met him just once during a shoot. That was it. I haven’t interacted with him since — no chats, no meetings. There’s literally no connection.”
She also laughed off the strange buzz about her being married to Abdul Razzaq — a rumour that started after a photo of them at a jewellery store went viral. Mocking the baseless claims, she quipped, – Tamannaah Bhatia
“Somehow, I ended up married to Abdul Razzaq — all thanks to the Internet’s wild imagination! I just want to say, sorry sir, you already have kids and a life of your own. I don’t know how this happened!”
Despite the humour, Tamannaah admitted these rumours haven’t always been easy to digest.
“It gets really awkward when you’re dragged into stories that have zero truth to them. At first, it’s hard to accept, but eventually you realise there’s nothing you can do. People will believe what they want, no matter how false it is.” – Tamannaah Bhatia
The actress is currently not in a relationship. Her last known partner was actor Vijay Varma, whom she met during the filming of Lust Stories 2 for Netflix. The two reportedly began dating during the shoot and confirmed their relationship around the anthology’s release in 2023. However, the pair have since gone their separate ways, though sources say they’ve remained on friendly terms.
On the career front, Tamannaah continues to juggle projects in multiple film industries. One of her upcoming ventures includes the Hindi-language folk thriller VVAN – Force Of The Forest, among other releases in regional cinema.
