Tejasswi Prakash and Karan Kundrra continue to be among the strongest couples to emerge from Bigg Boss. Their relationship, which began during Bigg Boss 15, has only grown deeper over time, and the two are now gearing up for a wedding in 2026. But Tejasswi recently revealed that Karan originally wanted to tie the knot much earlier.
In a candid conversation on Bharti TV’s YouTube show, Tejasswi shared that Karan approached her mother with the intention of getting married soon after Bigg Boss 15 ended. According to Tejasswi, her mother told Karan, “You both just got out of Bigg Boss. Spend at least a year together outside the show. It’s not about doubting you, Karan—I don’t even fully know my daughter in certain ways. Both of you need some time before taking such a big step.”
Tejasswi admitted that she tends to fall in love quickly and wholeheartedly, describing herself as “chanchal”. Because of this, her mother advised her to think carefully before rushing into a lifelong commitment. “Initially, I thought he was just flirting or having a crush,” she said. “I told my friends, ‘If he admits it in front of everyone, then I’ll consider it.’ And then, during Weekend Ka Vaar, he actually said it publicly.”

Karan’s Past Relationship With Anusha Dandekar
Before dating Tejasswi, Karan was in a long-term relationship with Anusha Dandekar. The two dated for over three years and co-hosted MTV Love School from 2016 to 2019. They parted ways in 2020.
In a 2021 Instagram Q&A, when a fan asked Anusha for the real reason behind their breakup, she replied, “We deserve more honesty, love, and happiness… and it begins with self-love. So I chose myself.”
