Zee TV’s popular drama Vasudha, produced by Arvind Babbal Productions, is gearing up for an intense twist as Dev (Abhishek Sharma) and Vasudha (Priya Thakur) secretly got married. The story recently took a dramatic turn when Dev misled Hanumant by claiming he had informed his mother, Chandrika Singh Chauhan (Parineeta Borthakur), about his relationship with Vasudha and gained her approval. Hanumant, believing that Chandrika was aware and supportive, gave his consent for their wedding. In reality, Chandrika had no idea about their love story, and it was Avinash who orchestrated a plan to have them married during the community wedding event Chandrika was organizing.

Vasudha remains a captivating narrative that explores the complexities between two women from contrasting backgrounds, whose lives intersect, leading to clashes of ideology, temperament, and social standing. Chandrika Singh Chauhan, originally portrayed by Nausheen Ali Sardar, is now played by Parineeta Borthakur, while Priya Thakur essays the titular role of Vasudha. Abhishek Sharma continues to play Devansh Singh Chauhan.
