Actors Vikrant Massey and Mahima Makwana are set to share the screen for the first time in the much-anticipated web-series adaptation of Musafir Café, based on the acclaimed Hindi novel by Divya Prakash Dubey. The romantic drama, produced for Netflix, has already begun filming in the picturesque hill town of Mussoorie.
According to reports, Mahima Makwana has already started shooting her portions, while Vikrant Massey, known for his compelling and layered performances, will join soon. Vikrant Massey on Choosing Roles
In a previous interview, Vikrant shared insights into how he selects his projects:
“There are so many elements that influence my choice of roles. But at the core of it lies a simple question—what does the story make me feel? I always prefer reading the final script instead of relying on narrations. If it’s meant to make me laugh or cry, I should feel that while reading. Only then do I think about whether I’ve explored something similar before or if this is a story I genuinely want to tell.”
With its soulful premise, scenic backdrop, and two talented leads, Musafir Café promises to be an emotionally charged tale of love, identity, and second chances. The series will premiere on Netflix later in 2025.
