On the morning of October 1, actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda suffered a leg injury in a mishap involving his own licensed revolver. According to early reports, the actor was injured when the revolver accidentally discharged while he was handling it. Govinda was promptly rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

A senior Mumbai Police officer confirmed that the incident was accidental. Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, provided more details, explaining that the actor was preparing to travel to Kolkata and was in the process of storing his revolver when it slipped from his hand. This led to an unintentional discharge of the weapon, and a bullet struck his leg.
